WHO AM I?
I am a Christian woman. I attend a conservative Mennonite church. I became aware of the need for modest womens clothing before I found the church and I couldn't find any ready to wear clothing so I made my own. Later when I learned to cover I discovered that finding head coverings is not easy either so I began to make them for others and for myself. I began making cape dresses and noticed that there is also a need for them.
MY FAMILY
We live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. There is no place we would rather call home. We are within a few hours from the mountains, beaches and dessert. It is cool most of the years but warm enough for us. People joke that summer lasts a day and the rainy season goes from July 16th until July 14th. Most of us like it that way.
We share our home with Coco, an Australian Shepard-spaniel mix. She is an amazing friend. We also share it our cat Lu. A few dozen chickens live also live on our farm.
My husband is a fire fighter and I am a homemaker with a love of quilt making , sewing, loom knitting and various other things. We have 3 children. Sarah, Roger and Shane. We love them dearly.
